The holidays kind of snuck up on me this season. I started everything later than I usually do but this actually turned out to be a good thing. It was a good thing because it required me to give myself two gifts that I hope to give myself a lot more of in 2016: Simplicity and Time.
Christmas ornaments in the dining room and on the tree, |
So I didn't go all out with the holiday decorations this year. Instead I edited my ideas down to what I could comfortably manage and then I took my time and enjoyed the process of implementing them as well as the results.

Simplicity and Time, how nicely each of them makes room for the other.
I painted new wings for this year's mantel decorations |
So, from our home to yours, Hippie and I wish you all the simple pleasures of this season and an abundance of time to enjoy them.
Just a little bit of holiday sparkle in my art studio. |
